Sunshine on a cold day

Last night we had the first frost of this autumn, not too bad considering it's nearly December already. It's a cold day here today but the sky is a beautiful blue with not a single cloud in sight - a perfect day to enjoy a big mug of hot tea in my new Christmas mug ...

...yum! And some crochet sunflowers ...

I made the sunflowers with a chunky 100% wool yarn for the middle and a DK 100% cotton yarn for the petals.

  7. Hi, Elisabeth - I'm so glad you dropped by, as now I've found your little creative corner. I just read through ALL your posts (and became a follower)...you do beautiful work (love the sunflowers on this one - the center yarn is SO deep and yummy in color). I started with crocheting, which I love, but had to move to knitting, because of tendonitis...yeah, I loved crocheting so much, I ended up hurting my wrist! Knitting is a whole different motion for the hands, to that's what I do now. Happy weekend to you - enjoy something warm in that darling cup! Tanya
